Hosting a talk show at an event like Hackstock is always going to be interesting. The discussions are vibrant and bonkers with ideas coming at you from all directions. From virtual reality to science fiction, hallucinogens, existentialism, politics, art, science, all areas of philosophy, spirituality and technology, we went there…
There was even a special guest appearance by some members of Kraftwerk!
Although details on this are top secret I can say I’ve had an incredible opportunity to film a production known as You Me Bum Bum Train. This immersive theatre piece catapults audience members one at a time through an incredible journey.
I went through this experience filming the journey of a ‘passenger’ and also shot some short interviews with some of the amazing volunteers who worked on this ground-breaking production.
The producers are putting together a documentary using my footage but I can’t say yet whether this will become available to the public so watch this space.

I hosted some Talkaoke sessions at Hackstock, part of 2016’s London Science Fiction Festival.

In June 2013 the Science Museum teamed up with the Medical Research Council (MRC) and theatre company non zero one to create ‘LIFE: A healthy game of chance and choice’.
Visitors picked up a paper ‘Pal’ and took them on a journey through LIFE. The aim of the game was to find out what is important for a long and healthy life. LIFE featured live games with MRC scientists, interactive theatre and a series of short talks.
I produced and shot this short retrospective film for the Science Museum, MRC and Non Zero One.
