From virtual reality to science fiction, hallucinogens, existentialism, politics, art, science, all areas of philosophy, spirituality and technology, we went there…

I hosted some Talkaoke sessions at Hackstock, part of 2016’s London Science Fiction Festival.
The theme was virtual reality so most conversations started there then soon deviated into strangely wild and unexpected areas…
Scientists in Brazil are flying through the clouds around the city of Manaus. They collect data on how air pollution affects rainfall. With this information they hope to influence national climate policy.
Over 6,000 people visited Robot Safari EU, a fantastic landscape inhabited by robots based on wild animals and plants from 30 November – 1 December 2013.
Visitors explored how nature can inspire innovative designs, watching as 13 unique robots swam, flapped and crawled their way around a unique safari experience. Many of the robots were on show to the British public for the first time.
